Reflection & Close

One Word Close

Word cloudRemote or in person

How you are leaving the room, in a single word.

One word each, straight onto the screen as a cloud. Four minutes, no preparation, and the shape of the cloud tells the facilitator more about how the day landed than any feedback form will.

Run this when…

The situations it was built for. If none of these is the room you have, it is probably the wrong activity.

  • The last four minutes of any session
  • A workshop where you want honest sentiment fast
  • A recurring meeting's regular sign-off

How it runs

Everyone types a short answer and it lands on the big screen as it arrives.

  1. 1You start a session and put the code on the big screen.
  2. 2Everyone joins on their phone — no app, no sign-up, just the code.
  3. 3You drive the pace from the host screen; the room answers as they go.
  4. 4Ending the session builds the report, with every answer in it.

Running it well

Only the host sees these. Participants never do.

  • Do not comment on the words. Read a few out, thank the room, and stop. Analysing them in the moment makes people edit their next one.
  • Screenshot the cloud. Run the same close at the next session and the two side by side say more than either alone.

Run it yourself

Free for thirty days, no card. Add it, share the code, and your room is playing in about fifteen seconds.
